With a daily pumping capacity of 20.5 million gallons, the SFWD stands ready to provide clean, safe water every time you need it, whether you're looking for a cool drink from the tap or running an extra load of laundry for the week. We're also available as a conduit for information to help you conserve our precious natural resource wherever possible, which means lower costs and more efficient consumption for you.
Commercial
Of the 12,672 service connections in the SFWD, 5% are commercial properties...large and small.
We've worked with environmental agencies on state and federal levels as advisors, consultants and colleagues to protect local water supplies. We've provided guidelines that have helped reduce costs and promote more efficient consumption.
